Finding the Perfect Color for Your Light Poles

First Thing’s First: The Finish

You may already know that every United Lighting Standards light pole is protected by our thermosetting polyester powder coating process. The full finishing process varies depending on which warranty you’ve selected, but at minimum, all poles, brackets and accessories undergo five steps.

And since powder coating can come in virtually any color, it’s easy to find the perfect shade for your poles.

Now For the Fun Part – Color!

When it comes to choosing a color for your light poles, there are many factors to consider, from the environment to the pole’s purpose.

United Lighting Standards is proud to offer one of the greatest ranges of standard powder coat color options in the industry — 17 of them to be exact.

Disclaimer: These color swatches are meant only as examples and should not be considered to be exact matches. We can send you a set of our standard color chips. Please contact us to learn more.

If these shades aren’t quite right for your project, you’re welcome to choose from the RAL color system. Just add the number of the color to the part number when submitting your order.

And, if you can’t find a RAL color to suit your needs, we’ll be happy to provide a custom color match. Simply fill out this form, follow the instructions for providing a color chip to match, and we’ll take it from there.

Okay, But What About Pricing?

We’re glad you asked. There’s absolutely no cost to choose one of our standard colors for your poles. We also send touch up spray with all poles coated in a standard color.

For non-metallic RAL colors, add 8% to the price of each pole. There is an 18% adder for custom-color matches.
