Round Tapered Composite Direct Burial

Our round-tapered composite poles are constructed of thermosetting resin reinforced with glass or other fibers to meet or exceed the performance requirement set forth in ANSI C136.20-2012.
Series 1
Our Series 1 poles range in overall lengths of 13’ to 21’ and are available in a Smooth, Black surface finish. These poles are constructed using a centrifugally cast process with a specially formulated system of glass-fiber and polyester-veil matting, resin, catalyst and UV additives. The pole is formed by inserting the material and resin matrix into a rotating mold, which is heated to allow the resin matrix to polymerize to the intended shape and finish.
Series 2
Our Series 2 poles range in overall lengths of 22’ to 35’ and are available in both a Natural or Smooth surface finish with our standard colors of Dark Brown, Black, or Gray. These poles are constructed using a filament winding process with a minimum of 65% “E” type fiberglass by weight and 35% UV-resistant and pigmented thermosetting polyester resin. Filament windings are continuously applied with uniform tension and placed on the pole helically at low angles to provide axial strength. Additional windings are placed on the pole in a circular manner to provide compressive strength. A highly weather-resistant, pigmented, polyurethane coating with a minimum thickness of 1.5 mils applied to the pole post curing for the final finish.
